It was lovely to take the chance to meet Kelly Hu at LFACC July 2015. The pic with Kelly was a pre-ordered photo shoot.
Met Martin Ballantyne at Wycombe Comic Con, Saturday 11th June 2016. He played the Joker's Henchman in The Dark Knight.
Met Adam Copeland (Atom-Smasher in Flash), Sean Maher (Shrapnel in Arrow) and Julian Sands (Gerald Crane in Gotham) at LFACC July 2016. All three were nice to meet. I managed to pose for pics with Sean and Julian, but got pics of Sean.
Met Stephen Amell, Charlotte Ross, Michael Rowe (Arrow), Robbie Amell, Shantel Vansanten (Flash), Drew Powell (Gotham), and Maisie Richardson-Sellers (Legends of Tomorrow) at Heroes & Villains London May 2017. I also met Robin Lord Tay;or who signed some Walking Dead items for me, and Italia Ricci who signed a Designated Survivor pic for me. In addition, my brother Sean and I had a Gotham cast photo op with Jessica Lucas, Robin Lord Taylor, David, Mazouz, Drew Powell and Sean Pertwee. My brother met Emily Bett Rickards on my behalf. It was a brilliant weekend.
Met John Barrowman (Arrow) and Jeffrey Combs (Gotham) at Birmingham Collectormania June 2017. Jeffrey is a bit of a legend for cult shows and films, and if my budget was bigger would have spent more at his table. John is just a legend, great to meet, and gave a brilliant fun one hour performance in his talk session. A highlight of the day.
Met Gez Williams who was a body double for Gal Gadot in Wonder Woman at Watford Film Fair July 2017. Cez was lovely to meet, and we chatted for about 10 minutes. She kindly posed for some pics with me including wearing the costume.
Met Joe Dinicol (Arrow), Michelle Harrison (Flash) and Emily Kinney (Flash) at LFACC July 2017. All three guests were lovely to meet.
Met Matt Ryan at the excellent Wales Comic Con on the weekend of 2/3 December 2017. As well as getting him to sign a John Constantine pic, I had a photo taken with him. Really nice guy, and hope he gets a new Constantine live action series out of his Legends of Tomorrow work.
Ever since my youngest days I have loved the American comics, especially Marvel and DC, and as a kid loved the exploits of Adam and Burt in the brilliantly camp Batman tv series. Colourful and over the top villains every week, plus some cheesy ham fisted action made this brilliant entertainment.
Since those days we have had brilliant films (Superman, Batman, a Marvel explosion, Watchmen and more), and now we have a wonderful era of amazing telvision series all celebrating these amazing superheroes from the pages of those colourful comics. I am loving them all.
This page is split into logical groups, but I split out Gotham from Batman as it takes place before the Batman identity exists.
One nice litle treat was seeing Tommy Campbell reference my autograph request on Twitter, and post a picture of himself holding the two pictures I sent him.
